Visiting Researchers
Dr Ana Luiza C Pereira
University of Adelaide
Ana obtained her PhD in Physics in 2005 and since 2010 is Assistant Professor at the University of Campinas (School of Applied Sciences), in Brazil. She is currently spending one year as a visiting researcher at Prof Losic’s group at the University of Adelaide working on graphene and 2D materials junction properties for energy applications. During her PhD, Ana studied 2D electron systems in the quantum Hall regime, and has spent one year at the University of Oxford, UK. She has been postdoctoral fellow at the National Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEN) in Brazil (2005-2006), and at the Institute of Physics of the University of Campinas, Brazil (2007-2010). Dr Ana Pereira has experience on computational simulations of disorder effects on the electronic properties of graphene and other 2D materials. Currently, her research interests include graphene-based materials for energy storage and energy harvesting devices.
