Dr Tanesh Garnot

Tanesh is a postdoctoral fellow in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at Monash University. He received his PhD in 2018 jointly from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, India and Monash University, Australia under IITB-Research Academy graduate program of Monash. Prior to joining PhD, he completed a Masters in the field of materials science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India, and published a couple of papers in international peer-reviewed journals. His research focuses mostly on synthesis chemistry and interfacial engineering of a wide range of colloidal systems from dispersions to gels to the emulsions. Currently, he is working with ARC Graphene Hub on an industry-sponsored project on ‘developing energy storage devicesfrom sustainable sources’.
