AM2022 Presenter Profiles

We’re excited to announce that the inaugural Advanced Materials Workshop and Networking Event will be held on Tuesday 22 Feb 2022, 9am-12:30pm, at the Exhibition Hall, National Wine Centre.

The Advanced Materials Workshop is a free half-day event hosted by the ARC Graphene Research Hub in association with the Faculty of Engineering, Mathematical and Computer Sciences (ECMS), University of Adelaide, to bring together Chemical Engineering and Advanced Materials researchers and industries to share knowledge and facilitate collaborative projects.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest research outcomes from ECMS researchers and meet like-minded academics and potential research partners. The format will include short presentations, poster presentations, and networking sessions with morning tea.

Presenters and topics include:

Assoc Prof Yan Jiao – Materials in energy and catalysis
Prof Dusan Losic – Graphene Research Hub outcomes
Dr Tran Tung – Graphene sensing devices
Dr Md Julker Nine – Graphene-enhanced coatings
Prof Volker Vessel – N-doped carbon nanodots and potential as nanofertilisers
Prof Peter Ashman – Hydrogen and future fuels
Prof Shaobin Wang – Nanomaterials synthesis
Assoc Prof Philip Kwong – Biomass resource recovery

Poster presentations are also welcome on a broad range of topics including (but not limited to) biomedical, energy storage, and environmental remediation.

Please RSVP by Monday 14 Feb 2022 to Dr Jacqui McRae (jacqui.mcrae@adelaide.edu.au) and include any dietary requirements. This is a free event however places are limited. Don’t miss out!
